OUP, the leading global ELT publisher, is seeking a highly motivated Educational Consultant to add to its Hungary based team to work from home, primarily in South-East Hungary region.             


About the role

The Educational Consultant role is part of the ELT Consultants Team who work to support the Account management strategy for the country/area. The team provides support to state and private schools in the country/area and speaking to key decision makers across educational establishments.

The Educational Consultant provides valuable support across OUP print and digital portfolio, promoting the value of our proposition.  They will also support our digital subscribers to enhance the customer experience.

The responsibilities of this position;

  1. Make consultative marketing calls and/or virtual/face-to-face meetings to create and maintain relationships with customers to promote OUP offer.
  2. Present print and digital publications to customers face-to-face and online.
  3. Provide customers with inspection materials across the portfolio (Print and Digital) in order to meet business targets.
  4. Increase proactively Product and Industry knowledge, learn the key promotional points on all relevant products for the schools´ portfolio of resources to enable consultative conversations to take place.
  5. Keep the CRM (iTrack) database updated with any new information gathered during calls and meetings.
  6. Make effective use of the database to track and follow up on adoption opportunities.
  7. Provide feedback on OUP titles, the external market and competitors’ activities to contribute to the development of promotion and marketing plans.
  8. To collaborate with colleagues to improve working practices, attend regular 1-1, team meetings, and communication sessions; keep up to date by attending in house briefings and conferences off site when requested.

About you

Essential:

  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • High level of self-motivation
  • High level IT skills, including Word & Excel 
  • Good time management and organisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and good presentation/communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Motivated by learning
  • Fluent in English (B2 level written and spoken)
  • Native Hungarian speaker
  • Valid driving licence (confident driver)

Experience:

  • Experience in telephone marketing
  • Experience of working with a CRM system
  • Experience in education sector
