OUP, the leading global ELT publisher, is seeking a highly motivated Educational Consultant to add to its Egypt based promotional team.  Promoting the Oxford ELT list in schools and universities, these field-based roles will be working in the following territories: 

  • Cairo
  • Delta

About the role

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  1. To prepare and execute seasonal territory action plans as agreed with the line manager, maximising effective promotional activity in the market.
  2. To visit schools and key contacts as agreed with the line manager in order to promote the OUP list.
  3. To organise and run product presentations, seminars and exhibitions, in order to provide effective and appropriate promotion of the OUP list and maintain/build on the company image.
  4. To keep thorough and up-to-date records of promotional activities in order to maximise the effectiveness of the OUP database.
  5. To participate in organizing and overseeing all teacher training and OTA courses in the territory.
  6. To develop regular contacts with institutions and key individuals therein to secure adoptions on behalf of OUP UK / the local distributor, maintain OUP profile, and ensure availability and usability of OUP product.
  7. To work closely with other ELT Education Consultants to exchange and share market information.
  8. Responsible for planning, preparing and initiating institution visits in line with comprehensive promotions set by Regional Manager and in consultation with Area Manager.
  9. Responsible for providing a consistently high level and frequency of reporting and self-evaluation of visit schedules and targets, in accordance with formats and timetables determined by Regional Manager.  

About you

The ideal candidates will possess the following experience and qualities:

Essentials

  • 3 years teaching experience (preferably ELT),
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Organised, responsive, good time management
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Full clean driving license

Desired

  • A proven track record in the role of ELT representative is a plus.
  • An energetic, outgoing, ambitious, self-motivated and self-confident professional
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Marketing & sales skill is a plus
